I think when we know we are going to a wedding in Provence in June, we hope for finding lavender fields. A domain with old stones, a clear view, a swimming pool. A good rosé, cicadas and great accents. Sophie & Tim have had all that, plus a crazy wind (the mistral). And a lot of love.
When a Franco-Belgian marries an Australian, it necessarily reunites a mix of cultures and an huge envy to spend some quality time with people who came from all over the world. The idea for them was to reunite and make the most of their loved ones. No fuss or too many questions about the organization or the decoration, what matters was not there. And when you have a place as beautiful as the Domaine de Sarson, it’s quite simple to organize. Add to that a world cup game in the afternoon where Belgium qualifies, and everyone wants to smile even more.
Thank you all for this amazing wedding, guests and other providers. I had a great time photographing this day by your side in the region of Grignan that I love so much.
